Got a question?

Below are the answers to some of our most frequently asked questions.

If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to us, and we'll be happy to help!

Orders

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Paypal.

Please note that the available payment methods may change depending on your region.

At busy times of the year, (pre-Christmas) these times may be longer than stated.

How do I track my order?

My parcel hasn't turned up?

Material

What metal is Ice Skating Jewellery made from?

All Ice Skating Jewellery is made only from sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% pure copper for added strength. We never use any other metals in our jewellery.

What is gold plate?

Gold plate is a thin layer of gold covering sterling silver. This is done using a process called electro-plating. It’s a more affordable option compared to solid gold, which can be very expensive.

All Ice Skating Jewellery is made with Gold Vermeil, meaning the base metal is sterling silver with a layer of gold on top.

Ice Skating Jewellery Personalisation

How do you personalise Ice Skating Jewellery?

Ice Skating Jewellery is sent away to be precisely laser-engraved with your chosen words and symbols. This takes around 1 week.

I want a piece personalised with something that isn't letters?

Standard symbols such as hearts, stars, snowflakes etc are fine, as are any symbols found on a standard QWERTY keyboard, such as @ # & £ $ and accents on names.

Any symbol that is not a standard or special character may require artwork and will incur an extra charge. Contact us if you need more advice.

Can you personalise in a different language?

Ice Skating Jewellery can be personalised in non-roman languages such as Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Arabic, Hebrew, and Hindi.

Non-true-type fonts may incur an additional charge for the artwork set-up. Please contact us for more information before ordering.

A mock-up of the personalisation will be sent via email for confirmation before engraving can commence.

Why can't I buy the blade charm separately?

We currently do not offer charms as standalone items for a few key reasons:
1. Quality Assurance: Our necklaces are crafted for durability and aesthetic appeal. Separating charms could compromise quality.
2. Design Harmony: Combining specific charms with necklaces ensures a cohesive and intentional design.
3. Customer Satisfaction: We want to ensure that our customers receive a product that exceeds their expectations. By offering complete necklaces, we can better control the entire product experience, from design to delivery.

Thank you for understanding.

Earrings

How do you fasten sleeper earrings?

Please follow this link for comprehensive details on hoops and stud hoop earrings, including instructions on how to attach them.

Bracelets

What’s my bracelet size?

The perfect bracelet fits loosely so it moves a little, but is not loose enough to slide off the hand. One or two fingers should be able to slide under the bracelet when worn.

To measure your wrist:

Use a tape measure or a strip of paper or ribbon. Wrap it around your wrist where you would normally wear a bracelet. If you are using a strip of paper or ribbon, mark the end of the strip and measure the length in centimetres. This is your wrist size. Add 1-2cm and this is your size.

Repairs

My necklace chain got caught and broke?

Not to worry, accidents happen. It's much more important to be honest, as it helps to know this when we repair your chain.

Ice Skating Jewellery can repair it for you for a small fee, which includes postage. We will even give your jewellery a bit of a clean while we're at it.

Contact us for details on how to return your item.

My bracelet has broken?

Accidents happen, and it’s important to be honest, as it helps with repairs.

Our bracelets aren't soldered at the fastening to protect the chain if snagged.

Ice Skating Jewellery can repair it for a small fee, including a free clean and polish. Contact us for return details.

My sleeper earring has broken?

Sleeper earrings are strong, as they are made of sterling silver tubing, but excessive force when putting them on can damage the delicate wire and hinge. It's helpful to provide details on how it happened, rather than attributing it to other causes.

Ice Skating Jewellery can replace broken sleepers for a small fee which includes return postage.

Contact us for more details.
